Originally from Italy, I moved to the UK more than 10 years ago, when people started calling me Vinnie. Before beginning a career as a filmmaker, I did a bunch of different jobs, from housekeeping to bar back, but we can talk about them in person over a coffee.
After winning the Panalux Award at the London Film School, I got my hands dirty in the lighting department working for Netflix, Untold Studios, Sony, and other companies.
I won the BSC Emerging Cinematographer's Prize for the work on Birch, shot on celluloid. My debut feature film premiered at IFFR - Rotterdam International Film Festival in the Bright Future Competition and screened at festivals worldwide, including Berlin Critics’ Week.
Berlinale Talents Alumni and a new member of BAFTA.
Most recently, I worked as 2nd Unit for one of my favourite DPs, Sayombhu Mukdeeprom (Uncle Boonmee, Call Me by Your Name, Challengers), on Adidas Forever, which won the Gold Cinematography Craft award at the British Arrows 2026.
I’ve worked with clients such as ProdCo, RiffRaff, Disney, Persol, Warner Music, Honor, Sony, Dove,
and collaborated with artists such as Damon Albarn, Poté, Bonobo, Fountaing DC, Alexandra Burke, Birdy.. and Others!
I enjoy building a specific visual language for each story, whether it's narrative, documentary or commercial.
When not on set, I’m a visiting Lecturer at various universities.
